Assisted Daily Living Care
NMI can provide basic personal care with day-to-day activities such as eating, bathing, dressing/grooming, ambulation, toileting, incontinence and more.
Companion Care/Respite Care
Caregivers can visit for a few hours a day or several times a week to provide family caregivers the opportunity to go to work, run errands, take a vacation, or simple rest and recharge.
The Early and Periodic Screening, Diagnostic and Treatment (EPSDT) benefit provides comprehensive and preventive health care services for children under age 21 who are enrolled in Medicaid. EPSDT is key to ensuring that children and adolescents receive appropriate preventive, dental, mental health, and developmental, and specialty services.
Services that include personal care, activities of daily living, preparing meals and light housekeeping to include laundry are provided. Companionship includes assistance with errands, transportation, shopping and other duties requested by the client.
The Medicaid state plan is for recipients who live in a qualified adult family care home, assisted living facility, or residential treatment facility. Services include assistance with activities of daily living (eating, bathing, walking, etc.), assistance with medications, shopping, making phone calls, and health support (observing the recipient’s well-being on a daily basis for any significant changes in appearance or behavior).
Helping you cover the costs of required care is of the utmost importance to us. That’s why we are versed in working with many insurance providers, including Medicare and Medicaid, to assist in getting the benefit coverage you are entitled to when it comes to short-term or long-term care.
Medicaid Waiver Program - Elderly & Disabled Personal Care Services
This service provides assistance to individuals over age 21 that would require the level of care found in a nursing facility. The clients must meet Medicaid Eligibility as SSI recipients.
Medicaid Waiver Program - Elderly & Disabled Respite
This service provides assistance to individuals over age 21 that cannot perform three or more activities of daily living and require companionship, support and general supervision. Clients must meet eligibility requirements for services.
Medicaid Waiver Program - Intellectual & Developmental Disabilities (IDD)
In Home Respite & Home and Community Supports services provide assistance to individuals who would require the level of care found in an intermediate care facility. The clients are able to remain at home and receive car because of this program. Clients must meet eligibility requirements for services.
Pediatric nurses are Registered Nurses (RNs) who care for children of all ages in a variety of healthcare settings. Our nurses are very knowledgeable about growth and development as they adapt their interactions and care to the individual child’s developmental level. In addition, they acknowledge the expertise of the family and collaborate with them to provide care for the child.
Private Duty Nursing
Quality care and assistance by RNs, LPNs, Nurse Aides, Companions and Personal Care Assistants at home or in the hospital on a continuous or intermittent basis.
Post Operative Care
We provide care for you or a loved one after a surgical procedure. The type of postoperative care you need depends on the type of surgery you have, as well as your health history. It often includes pain management and wound care.
Skilled Nursing Care
Skilled Nursing Care is for those who need ongoing long-term nursing care or for those who need short-term concentrated rehabilitation while recovering from surgery or an illness. We provide the sophisticated medical services and 24-hour supervision needed by residents with serious health challenges.
Supplemental Staffing Program
NMI offers RNs, LPNs, CNAs, and PCAs for hospitals, nursing homes, physician offices and clinics; PRN, short and long term contracts available.
Veterans Affairs - Respite
This program provides temporary relief time for the primary caregiver of a veteran. Clients must meet eligibility requirements for services.
Workers’ compensation covers all injuries or illnesses that happen in the course and scope of employment, including traumatic injuries and occupational illnesses. Traumatic injuries are those that result from a one-time accident at work, such as a broken bone from a slip and fall. Nursing Management can assist in the recovery process.
Cost of Services
NMI Services offers the client a free assessment. In many instances, families do not understand the services to which clients are entitled. Many services may be paid by private health insurance, HMOs, Medicaid, Federal/State funded programs, or by Workers Compensation. NMI will direct all the billing accordingly.
Our case managers will help to verify insurance coverage and explain your benefits to you at no cost. We make the process easy by doing all the paperwork.
It is important that we maintain our standards at a high level. The requirements to become a NMI nurse or field staff member are strict and unyielding. We have field staff members with various skill levels and credentials. Experience and flexibility are traits we feel are vital to NMI nurses and field staff members.
