- 1 sheet frozen puff pastry, thawed 6 large Ohio eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 2/3 cup Key lime juice
- 1 tablespoon lime zest
Fit puff pastry into 8-inch (2 inches deep) tart pan with removable bottom or deep-dish pie pan. Trim to edge of pan. Blind bake puff pastry according to package directions, until golden brown. Cool. Preheat oven to 300ºF. Whisk together eggs, sugar, heavy cream, Key lime juice and lime zest. Set pan on middle shelf of oven and pour egg mixture into crust. Bake until center is set, approximately 1 hour. Cool tart to room temperature, then chill in refrigerator until cold. Garnish confectioners sugar lime slices whipped cream Garnish with whipped cream or dust with confectioners sugar and lime slices.
