- 2 tablespoons mirin (sweet cooking rice wine)
- 3 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
- 1 tablespoon fresh ginger root, minced
- 1 whole pork tenderloin
- 3 tablespoons honey
Combine mirin, sugar, soy sauce, hoisin sauce, and ginger root in a resealable bag. Add pork tenderloin; marinating for at least 1 hour. Preheat oven to 400ºF. Remove pork from marinade and place on rack in heavy roasting pan. Place in preheated oven for 30 minutes or until internal temperature reaches 150ºF. Remove from oven. Brush roast with honey and place back in oven to glaze roast.
